Excerpt from "Finding Love" (Billionaire Romance #1)

Chris looked up at her trying to hide his silly grin. She had just put it all out there and told him exactly how she felt about him. It made him feel good to know he made her melt, but he felt bad that she doubted his feelings for her. She was usually calm, sweet, and quiet. This was the first time he had seen this side of her. She was so sexy when she was angry. He wanted to stand up, grab her, and show her how much he cared about her, but knew she would push him away.

“Sarah,” he began, standing up.

“Don't you Sarah me,” she cut him off, her voice sharp like a knife. “I don't need anyone feeling sorry for me. I can take of myself just fine. I don't know what you are trying to pull off here. I was doing just fine, before you walked into my life. If you are here to see what it's like to be with a normal person and not some gold digger, then you can go. I will pick up the pieces after your gone and move on. I thought you were different. I thought you were special. That's what I get for thinking. I don't need anything from you or anyone else,” she said.

Chris stood in front of her and looked her directly in the eyes. She was beautiful. Her blue eyes were so bright and vivid. He could not let her talk like that about him. He had to set her straight.
